Ellen Shershow School of the Art Institute of Chicago Ellen Shershow is an artist who has just graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Master of Fine Arts in Photography. Her work explores natural history, using the bodies of humans, animals and insects. Shershow has been included in several shows at the Grossman gallery and participated in the Second Annual Members Exhibition at the Photographic Research Center, both in Boston. During 1998, Shershow’s work graced the covers of three books for Simon and Schuster custom publishing. In April of 1999, she was a featured artist on the PBS show "Artbeat." In 2000, her work will be included in a show entitled "In Search of Objects: An Abstract Photography Exhibition" at Artemisia Gallery in Chicago.
