Christopher Frederick Syracuse University www.corpcas.com Christopher Frederick is a graduate fellow at Syracuse University pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Photography. During his stay at Syracuse, Christopher has instructed courses of his own design in traditional photography and two-dimensional design. A multi-disciplinary artist, Christopher has also worked in and taught book art, painting and video. His color photography explores the sensations of absence and loss through a variety of imagery. The photographs emphasize the photographer’s point of view, adding a sense of loneliness and solitude to the work. Through framing that emphasizes detail and cropping, the subject becomes that which lies beyond the photograph.
