Born in Norway and raised in Sweden before crossing the same border again, he spent formative years in Australia and received an undergraduate degree in photography in England. He is currently completing his M.F.A. program at the University of New Mexico. The diverse experiences constituting his background have brought a critical awareness of cultural production to his work. All events involving language and knowledge are inevitably considered properties with acquired, rather than inherent, qualities. The self-evident meaning afforded by their appearance retains a complexity worthy of investigation.
