Lisa Stanley
University of Colorado
Lisa Stanley received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and her
MFA at the University of Colorado. She has exhibited nationally and
was the recipient of two California Arts Council grants.
Lisa has been involved in several public art projects which brought the
creative works and stories of the homeless, the mentally ill and women refugees
to the public eye.She currently works in the mediums of photography, digital
imaging, installation and book arts. Her latest project is a multi-media
installation piece which examines the ideology of conquest; women and war;
and land as the place of history, vision and sacredness; through the story
of the 1864 Sand Creek in Colorado.
