Ko Yamada, born
and raised in Nagoya, Japan, holds a BFA in Photography from Ohio University.
He is interested in understanding his personal
boundaries to
reconstruct his basis of existence. He believes photography is the most unique
method to capture a psychological relationship, consciously, as a physical
evidence. Because of his distinct cultural perspective, his works
are also understood as
a recognition of cultural and racial boundaries in the society. Presently,
Ko lives in Athens, Ohio and is seeking a teaching
position in photographic arts.
